This is the right option for those who simply want to say they have seen Abu Dhabi from the air and are budget-conscious relative to the longer tours.
20-Minute Extended City Tour — AED 1,295 per Person
The 20-minute tour adds Yas Island and the Formula 1 circuit to the route, flying over the W Abu Dhabi hotel bridge that straddles the track. The additional 8 minutes of flight time allows for better photography and a more relaxed pace at each landmark. This is the most popular option among first-time visitors.
40-Minute Sir Bani Yas Island Tour — AED 2,495 per Person
The premium 40-minute flight extends to Sir Bani Yas Island, the wildlife reserve 240 km southwest of Abu Dhabi that was originally developed by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The route crosses open Gulf water and covers the island's conservation areas, which house free-roaming Arabian oryx, cheetah, and giraffe populations. This tour requires a minimum group booking and should be arranged well in advance.
What You See from the Air
- Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque — the scale of the structure is only fully appreciable from altitude. The white marble courtyard, four minarets, and the surrounding grounds form a pattern that is invisible from ground level.
- Yas Island — the F1 circuit layout, the hotel bridge over the track, Ferrari World's distinctive red roof, and the Yas Marina waterfront are clearly identifiable from the air.
- Abu Dhabi Corniche — the curve of the waterfront, the breakwater, and the cluster of towers along Khalidiyah form Abu Dhabi's signature skyline view.

A maximum weight of 120 kg per passenger applies. This is a safety and balance requirement; Seawings will weigh passengers discreetly at check-in. Getting to the Departure Point
The Seawings helipad facility is located near Abu Dhabi International Airport Terminal 1. From Abu Dhabi city centre, the drive is approximately 25 to 30 minutes via Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Street (Airport Road). Taxi fare from central Abu Dhabi is AED 30 to 45. Insider Tips
- Book the early morning slot (7:00 am to 9:00 am) — the light is golden, the air is stable, and the city looks its best before haze builds up in the afternoon.
- Bring a mirrorless or compact camera rather than a large DSLR — space in the cabin is limited and long lenses are difficult to manage through the window.
- Wear dark clothing — glass reflections can ruin helicopter photography and dark colours reduce reflections more than white or bright colours.
- The right side of the helicopter typically has better views of the Grand Mosque on the standard route — request this side at check-in.
