How to spend less time queuing

Aquaventure has more than 100 slides and attractions, so most waits come from everyone heading for the same big rides at the same time.

  Buy your ticket before you travel. Online tickets are dated and prices move with demand, so booking ahead means no ticket-desk queue and often a better price. Our Aquaventure ticket types and prices page compares the options.

  Look at the fast-track option on busy days. Aquaventure sells a paid express-queue option on some dates. It is worth pricing on a weekend or holiday, and rarely worth it on a quiet weekday morning. Availability is limited, so add it when you book.

  Split up by ride type. In mixed groups, let the thrill-seekers do the tower slides while younger children use the Splashers zone, then meet at a fixed point such as your locker bank.

  Check height rules before you queue. Many of the bigger rides need riders to be at least 1.2 m tall. Signs at each ride entrance give the exact limit, so measure children against them before joining a long line.

Lockers, towels and eating inside the park

A standard day pass does not include a locker or a towel. You can add both when you book online or at the Aquaventure ticketing plaza, and some bundles and cabanas include them. Check what your ticket covers before you pay twice.

There are several locker areas around the park. Pick one near the part of the park you will use most, rather than the first bank inside the entrance, so you are not walking back across the site every time you need your phone or sunscreen. One locker per family is usually enough if you pack light.

Outside food and drink are not allowed, so budget for eating inside. Outlets include Barracudas and Shark Bites. Eat before noon or after 14:00 to avoid the longest waits, and keep drinking water through the day, especially in the summer months.
