You do not need a hotel booking to spend a day at Atlantis. Here is what non-guests can do, what it costs and how to get there.
Yes. Anyone can buy a ticket for Aquaventure Waterpark or the Lost World Aquarium (the attraction previously called The Lost Chambers) and book a table at the resort's restaurants. What non-guests cannot use are the hotel's guest-only facilities, such as the hotel pools, beach and kids' club. Prices below are as of September 2026; check the official sites before travelling.
The main reason most people visit. A day ticket covers the slides, the lazy rivers and the park's beach. No outside food or drink is allowed, and children under 1.2 m must wear a life jacket. Full ticket types are on our Aquaventure tickets and prices page.
The walk-through aquarium beneath the resort, built around the Ambassador Lagoon. A shorter, cooler option for a hot afternoon or for younger children. Buy it alone or combined with Aquaventure; our Dubai aquariums guide compares it with other options in the city.
Non-guests can book the resort's restaurants, from buffets such as Saffron to signature venues like Ossiano, which looks into the aquarium, and Nobu. A restaurant booking is the simplest way to see the interiors if you do not want the waterpark.
Dolphin and sea lion experiences are sold separately to guests and non-guests. Age, height and swimming rules apply, and they often sell out in winter, so book on the official site.

Atlantis is at the far end of the Palm Jumeirah crescent, so allow extra time whichever way you travel.
Runs from Palm Gateway station at the base of the Palm to the Atlantis Aquaventure station, with stops along the trunk. As of September 2026 it operates 09:00 to 22:00, with fares of AED 20 single and AED 30 return. Palm Gateway connects to the Dubai Tram at the Palm Jumeirah tram stop; see our Dubai Metro guide for connecting from the Red Line.
The simplest option, especially with children or bags. Ask for Atlantis The Palm and tell the driver if you are heading to Aquaventure rather than the hotel lobby, as drop-off points differ. Fares depend on traffic and time of day.
The Palm is reached from Sheikh Zayed Road, and the crescent via an undersea tunnel. Parking arrangements and charges for day visitors can change, so check the Atlantis or Aquaventure site before you drive.
