The iconic resort at the crown of Palm Jumeirah — home to Aquaventure Waterpark, world-class dining, and an underwater aquarium that draws visitors from across the globe.
Atlantis The Palm opened in 2008 and remains one of Dubai's most recognisable landmarks. The resort spans 113 acres at the apex of Palm Jumeirah's crescent, with two towers (the Bridge Suite famously connecting them), and encompasses the Middle East's largest waterpark, an underground aquarium, 23 restaurants, and a 1,548-room hotel.
Next door, Atlantis The Royal — opened in 2023 — is a separate, suite-only property aimed at the ultra-luxury market. Its infinity pool scene and Nobu Atlantis outpost have made it one of the most shared hotel images in Dubai.
For non-guests, there are multiple ways to experience the property: purchase an Aquaventure day pass, book a table at one of the restaurants, visit the lobby and mall, or simply walk through the main entrance arcade — all without a hotel key card.
105+ slides and rides including Poseidon's Revenge (near-vertical drop) and the Tower of Neptune. Includes 1.4km of private beach and a 2.3km lazy river. Adults AED 385, children (under 1.2m) AED 320. Online booking saves approximately AED 30. Open 10am – 6pm daily.
An underwater aquarium built around the myth of Atlantis. Home to 65,000 marine animals across 21 themed chambers and a 11-million-litre Ambassador Lagoon. Adults AED 140, children AED 100. Shark diving available for certified PADI divers.
The Nobu at Atlantis is one of Dubai's flagship fine-dining venues, offering Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's signature Japanese-Peruvian cuisine. Budget AED 400 – 700 per person. Reservations are essential, particularly for dinner. There is also a Nobu at Atlantis The Royal.
Located below the Ambassador Lagoon, Ossiano is one of the world's most dramatic restaurant settings — floor-to-ceiling windows look directly into the aquarium. Budget AED 600 – 1,000 per person for the tasting menu. Widely regarded as one of the best fine-dining experiences in the UAE.
For a more accessible dining experience, Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen offers British brasserie classics at AED 200 – 350 per person. Popular for brunch on Fridays. Reservations recommended but walk-ins are sometimes possible for lunch on weekdays.
The newer, suite-only ultra-luxury property beside the original Atlantis. Rates from AED 3,500 to AED 15,000+ per night. Non-guests can book at the poolside restaurants or visit the public promenade. The Royal Atlantis infinity pool — visible from The Pointe — is one of Dubai's most photographed architectural features.
