What Is Global Village?

Global Village is Dubai's most unique seasonal attraction — a massive outdoor cultural and entertainment destination that transforms Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road into a celebration of the entire world. Each year from October to April, 95 pavilions representing countries from every continent open their doors, offering authentic food, crafts, performances, and shopping under the desert stars.

It's part theme park, part food festival, part shopping souk, and part cultural showcase. Families come for the rides, food-lovers come for the cuisine, and shoppers come for bargains unavailable anywhere else in Dubai. With over 80,000 daily visitors on peak weekends, timing your visit well makes all the difference.

Insider Tips

Frequently Asked Questions

When does Global Village Dubai open each year?
Global Village runs annually from approximately late October to late April. The exact dates vary by season. It is completely closed May through September due to Dubai's extreme summer heat.
Is the AED 25 entry fee the same every day?
The standard entry fee is AED 25 for adults and AED 10 for children aged 3–12. Special event nights may carry a premium. Children under 3 always enter free regardless of the event.
How long should I plan to spend at Global Village?
Most visitors spend 3–5 hours comfortably. To visit all 95 pavilions and catch multiple entertainment shows, plan a full evening from 5pm to closing. Rides enthusiasts often stay until midnight.
Can I re-enter Global Village on the same ticket?
Standard single-entry tickets do not permit re-entry. If you need to leave and return in the same evening, speak with gate staff on arrival about re-entry stamps available that season.
Is Global Village suitable for very young children and toddlers?
Yes — it's one of Dubai's most family-friendly venues. Under-3s enter free, strollers are welcome on wide paved paths, and the dedicated soft play and toddler ride zones are ideal for the youngest visitors.
