The world's largest man-made marina — a spectacular 7km waterfront promenade surrounded by 200 skyscrapers, world-class restaurants, and the best evening atmosphere in Dubai.
Dubai Marina Walk is a 7km promenade circumnavigating the world's largest man-made marina. The path is lined on one side by the water — bobbing yachts, traditional abras, and party boats — and on the other by the ground floors of Dubai Marina's towers, packed with restaurants from budget to Michelin-star ambitions.
The walk is at its absolute best in the evening. The reflection of 200 lit skyscrapers on the water, the smell of shisha from cafes, the parade of nationalities from every corner of the globe — it is genuinely one of the world's great urban evening experiences.

Pier 7 tip: Each floor of Pier 7 is a different restaurant. Take the elevator to the top (Level 7 — Atelier M) for the best views, then work your way down comparing each restaurant's terrace. The tower is located at the west end of Marina Walk near Dubai Marina Mall.
Yes — completely free to walk. The 7km promenade is open 24 hours with no admission charge. Restaurants, cafes, and shops line the walk — you only pay if you choose to eat or shop.
The full circuit is approximately 7km. Walking the complete loop at a leisurely pace takes 75-90 minutes. Most visitors walk a portion of it (2-3km) while stopping for meals or photography, spending 2-4 hours total in the Marina area.
Pier 7 is a 7-floor restaurant tower at Dubai Marina — a different restaurant on each level, all with panoramic marina views. The tower is a distinctive architectural landmark. Top floors have the best views; the ground floor bar is popular for pre-dinner drinks.
Metro Red Line to Dubai Marina station (also DMCC station) then 5-10 minute walk to the waterfront. Dubai Tram connects directly. Taxi from Downtown takes 20-25 minutes (AED 40-55). The Marina is well-connected and very accessible.
Budget: Foul Wa Hummus (AED 15-30), Lebanese and Middle Eastern cafes along the walk. Mid-range: Shakespeare & Co, The Cheesecake Factory, and dozens of options at AED 80-150. Fine dining: Atelier M at Pier 7 (AED 250-400). Barasti Beach Club at Le Méridien for sunset drinks and casual food.
