UAE visa on arrival countries at a glance

This is the list page: find your passport below, note the stay length, then check the fine print. The groups follow the UAE's published visa policy as of September 2026. The UAE changes this list without much notice, so confirm your nationality on the official ICP website (icp.gov.ae) or with your airline before you fly. Eligibility is based on the passport you travel on, not where you live.

Conditional visa on arrival: India and 6 other nationalities

Citizens of India, Indonesia, Kenya, the Philippines, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam can get a visa on arrival only if they also hold one of the following:

The passport needs at least six months' validity. The standard permit is 14 days for AED 100, with a 60-day option also offered (as of September 2026). Indian travellers can read the details in our UAE visa guide for Indians.

This facility is limited to those seven nationalities. A Nigerian or Pakistani traveller with a US or Schengen visa does not qualify and still needs a visa before travel; see our step-by-step guide to a Dubai visa application from Nigeria.

Passports not on the list

If your passport is not in any group above, you need a visa approved before boarding, arranged through an airline, hotel, licensed agent or UAE sponsor. Our Dubai visa requirements decision guide explains which route fits your passport, and UAE tourist visa options compares the 30-day and 60-day visas.
